Imagine a keyboard without letters or numbers written on the individual buttons. Imagine that you can assign any character or function for each button, and if the next day you choose to change the configuration of the buttons you may do so without having to dispose of the “old” keyboard. Imagine this “all-in-one” keyboard, and when you are done dreaming go out and buy an Optimus Maximus . With Optimus you get a comfortable fully customisable keyboard with 2 USB ports and a 32MB SD card for storing keyboard layout. This is truly visual tool for visual people!
Optimus’s customizable layout allows convenient use of any language—Cyrillic, Ancient Greek, Georgian, Arabic, Quenya, hiragana, etc.—as well as of any other character sets: notes, numerals, special symbols, HTML codes, math functions and so on to infinity.
With the configurator software you may create and assign any image for each individual button. The buttons are removable, therefor they are very easy and fast to clean. Give it a try!
There is no need to learn different button combinations because now you can have all the buttons that you have been missing, for example:
- “New Patient”
- “Edit Patient”
- “Next Slice”
- “Previous Slice”
And there is another but smaller “keyboard” that you may use alongside Optimus; that is the Optimus Mini. The Mini may notify you of new email, new RSS feed, weather forecast, Skype or MSN messages, etc while you are working on your images in full screen mode.
If this has not been enough, check out Optimus Tactus which is still only a concept, but if realized, it could completely revolutionize the way we “type.”
