When iPhones were put out on the market, I was literally drooling at the very sight of it. What could possible be better than having your camera+mp3 player+mobile+laptop in one single device? And now there is yet another reason to buy one: WebPax images can be viewed on an iPhone. WebPax is a DICOM compliant, scalable medical image management system developed by HeartIT. “DICOM is a standard for handling, storing, printing, and transmitting information in medical imaging.” It is basically a file format and a communications protocol. High quality videos of medical images on an iPhone can be found on the HeartIT site.
